You asked for it, and here it is. We have striped out the fluff and focused on the goods. Big Mountain Heli Skiing is all about maximizing your vertical, and getting the most bang for your buck. We know you’re gonna like it. With all the energy directed to providing more heliskiing, your dollar buys you more vertical than is possible elsewhere, but not by compromising quality! We have retained all the key elements that make the Bella Coola Heli Skiing experience special. Groups are still small, and we have retained all the other many advantages of flying with Bella Coola Heli Sports in the smaller A-star helicopters. If you’re happy with comfortable lodging, do not require extravagant meals, aren’t worried about excessive pampering, but want as much time on snow as you can afford, look no further. We encourage you to make your own comparisons.

Location :
The Bella Coola Valley is located approximately 400 kilometres north of Vancouver in the Coast Mnt. Range of British Columbia. Our base is located at the Coast Mountain Lodge in the drier and sunnier eastern end of the Bella Coola Valley.
Terrain Description:
You’ve seen it in the movies or you’ve skied with us before, either way you probably know that nowhere else compares to Bella Coola Heli Sports impressive alpine terrain and majestic surroundings. Huge rock spires, couloirs, glacier bowls in an amphitheater of unmistakeably West Coast mountains. You can count on runs of 5000 to 6000 vertical feet (1500 to 1800 vertical metres), with the longest yielding 7000 thigh-burning vertical feet (2150 vertical meters) of bliss. Take Vail Colorado, stack Steamboat on top of it, remove all but 8 of the skiers, and add untracked snow from top to bottom. If that works for you, give us a call.
